Pakistan knocked out of Hockey World Cup after 5-3 defeat to India
WEB DESK: Pakistan were knocked out of the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup after suffering a 5-3 defeat against arch-rivals India on Tuesday.
Shahid Hanan scored twice for Pakistan, while Sufyan Khan added one goal, but their efforts were not enough to secure victory.
Pakistan had earlier lost their opening Group D match against England, while their second match against Wales ended in a draw.

India secured qualification for the next stage of the competition following their victory over Pakistan.
India and England advanced from Group D to the next stage.
