Pakistan Railways on Track for Record Revenue in FY23-24

Pakistan Railways (PR) is making significant strides in revenue generation, as indicated by the recent announcement of a revenue of Rs. 66 billion for the initial nine months of the financial year 2023-24.

With optimistic projections foreseeing a potential increase to Rs. 80 billion by the fiscal year’s end, Pakistan Railways CEO Aamer Ali Baloch shared insights into the organization’s performance.

Baloch highlighted the achievement of completing 100 percent bookings for special trains, demonstrating the public’s trust and reliance on railway services.

Additionally, he assured the public of the availability of diesel to guarantee uninterrupted operations during the upcoming Eid holidays, underscoring PR’ commitment to customer satisfaction and service reliability.

This announcement comes on the heels of PR’ remarkable achievement of surpassing Rs. 41 billion in revenue during the first half of FY24, marking a testament to the organization’s continued growth and efficiency.
