In a significant move to strengthen bilateral ties, Pakistan and Iran will sign multiple accords as Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi arrived in Islamabad on Monday.

The Pakistan Federal Cabinet has given approval to sign the accords with Iran, focusing on workforce collaboration, film industry cooperation, and cultural exchanges.

Key Highlights:

  • Worker’s Welfare Fund: A joint fund will be established to promote the welfare of workers, including the exchange of skilled manpower and collaboration in workforce development.
  • Film Industry Cooperation: Joint production projects, delegation exchanges, and cultural events like Film Weeks will be organized to foster cooperation and gain insights into each other’s film industries.
  • Cultural Exchanges: Delegations from both countries will participate in cultural events, promoting cross-cultural understanding and people-to-people contacts.
  • Sectoral Cooperation: Delegations will be sent to each country to develop a basic understanding of various sectors, paving the way for future collaborations.

The approval of these MoUs demonstrates the commitment of both nations to strengthen their bilateral ties and explore new avenues of cooperation.
