The Qualcomm upcoming Snapdragon X Plus processor has made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, revealing key details about its architecture and performance.

The chip is expected to power Microsoft’s highly anticipated Surface 10 Pro OLED device, which is rumored to be unveiled at the Windows on ARM event on May 20.

10-Core CPU and X65 Modem

The Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus features a 10-core CPU with a maximum clock speed of 3.42 GHz, divided into two clusters of 6 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores.

Additionally, it comes with a built-in X65 modem, setting it apart from the Snapdragon X Elite, which has an external modem.

Surface 10 Pro OLED Specifications

The Surface 10 Pro OLED is expected to come with a base configuration of 16 GB RAM and storage options ranging from 256 GB to 1 TB.

The device is rumored to feature a 10-core Snapdragon X Elite processor, which is slightly more powerful than the Snapdragon X Plus.

Microsoft’s upcoming event on May 20 is expected to showcase the company’s latest advancements in Windows on ARM technology.
