A Pakistani pilgrim survived severe heart attack while performing Umrah due to swift response of medical team of King Abdullah Medical City in Makkah.

The Pakistani pilgrim after heart attack was initially admitted to Al-Haram Emergency Hospital for evaluations and was later transferred to King Abdullah Medical City for further treatment.

The medical team completed life-saving procedures in under 40 minutes, including catheterization of heart arteries and successful placement of stents.

Coordinated Efforts and Specialized Care

The Saudi Press Agency reported that the pilgrim was taken directly to Mina Al-Wadi Hospital, and rapid coordination took place between health authorities to ensure urgent transfer to the emergency department.
