Samsung Galaxy S24 Shortage in Pakistan Due to High Demand
Samsung flagship Galaxy S24 series has taken the world by storm that led to a shortage in Pakistan, reports Bloomberg.
Despite being more expensive than other Samsung models, the demand for Galaxy S24 Ultra and other S24 devices remains high, showcasing the purchasing power of wealthier Pakistani consumers.
Pakistan’s mobile phone market is thriving, with 192 million users and a growing demand for locally assembled phones.
Samsung leads the market share in the country, and the company is working hard to meet the increasing demand.

In a statement, Samsung Electronics said, “We are working hard to meet the demand of our customers, and we anticipate sales will resume shortly.”
The shift to local assembly in Pakistan, encouraged by government incentives in 2017, has boosted the country’s smartphone industry.
Last year, mobile companies produced around 21 million units in Pakistan, with local and Chinese brands like VGOTEL, Infinix, and Itel leading the production.

Meanwhile, around 1.7 million units were imported.
Muzzaffar Hayat Piracha, CEO of Air Link Communication, predicts a 30-40% increase in mobile phone assembly in Pakistan this year.
Air Link Communication Ltd. is one of the largest mobile phone distributors in the country and also assembles phones for brands like Xiaomi.
