The Sindh government’s claims of curbing cheating and paper leaks during exams have been exposed once again, as reports of paper leaks surfaced from various cities of Sindh on Thursday.

Matriculation exams (ninth and 10th classes) were affected, with students in Larkana, Kandiaro, and Khairpur getting access to leaked papers.

In Larkana, the Sindhi language paper was leaked well before its scheduled start, allowing students to solve it with ease.

This incident raises questions over the Larkana Education Board’s claims of preventing such misconduct.

Similarly, the Urdu paper conducted in Kandiaro under the Shaheed Benazirabad Board was also leaked and widely shared on WhatsApp.

In Khairpur, students got their hands on the English language paper before the start of the exam, and invigilators were reportedly involved in helping them solve it.

Both boys and girls took advantage of the paper leakage, using WhatsApp to solve the paper without facing any consequences.

This incident highlights the failure of the Sindh government’s measures to prevent paper leaks and cheating during exams.

Despite annual assurances, such incidents continue to occur, compromising the integrity of the education system.

The government must take concrete steps to address this issue and ensure a fair and transparent examination process.
