Novacare has issued a clarification regarding recent media coverage and social media speculation about its upcoming project at CBD NSIT Lahore, emphasising that several reports have misrepresented the organisations and affiliations involved.

The healthcare company confirmed that since March 2024, it has been affiliated with Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust through the Trust’s International Affiliate Network—a global initiative that partners with select healthcare organisations to uphold world-class clinical standards.

Novacare is currently constructing a 250-bed tertiary care hospital in Islamabad, which is now over 50 per cent complete and expected to open in late 2026.

The company further announced that it has been allocated land in CBD NSIT Lahore for its second major project, an Academic Medical Centre designed to combine healthcare delivery, research, education, and innovation.

This initiative aligns with Novacare’s vision to build a nationwide network of modern medical facilities across Pakistan.

Addressing confusion in the media, Novacare clarified that Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Imperial College London are distinct entities.

The Trust, which operates five major hospitals in London, is part of the UK’s National Health Service and leads one of the country’s largest teaching hospital groups.

While it collaborates with Imperial College London in various fields, the university is not involved in the Trust’s International Affiliate Network.

Novacare reaffirmed its commitment to providing world-class healthcare in Pakistan, guided by principles of excellence, transparency, and innovation.
