Iran’s security chief Ali Larijani meets Field Marshal
RAWALPINDI: Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani called on Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters on Tuesday.
During the meeting, both sides discussed bilateral cooperation, regional security situation and ways to further strengthen ties between Pakistan and Iran.
The army chief reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and stability and stressed the importance of closer cooperation with Iran in counter-terrorism efforts. He also underlined the growing significance of strategic collaboration in view of the evolving regional and global situation.

Ali Larijani acknowledged Pakistan’s key role in promoting peace and stability in the region and expressed Iran’s desire to further deepen bilateral relations. He emphasized the importance of sustained dialogue and cooperation between the two neighbouring countries to address common challenges and ensure long-term regional stability.
