SIALKOT: Three children were injured after a Ferris wheel cabin broke mid-ride at a fair in Kotli Loharan area of Sialkot, officials said on Monday.

A disturbing video of the incident, which later surfaced online, showed the cabin snapping while in motion, leaving the children hanging briefly from the ride’s main structure. At the time, two minor boys and a young girl were inside the cabin.

As the Ferris wheel continued to rotate, the children could be heard screaming before they fell to the ground, sustaining injuries. Police reached the spot soon after the incident and shifted the injured children to a nearby hospital.

Authorities later revealed that the Ferris wheel had been installed without obtaining the required permission or no-objection certificate (NOC). Police registered a case against the ride owner and operator, both of whom were arrested.
