UAE President arrives in Pakistan on first official visit
United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Pakistan on his first official visit on Friday.
Upon arrival at Pakistan Air Force Nur Khan Air Base, the visiting dignitary was accorded a 21-gun salute. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, along with federal ministers, received the UAE president.
National anthems of Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates were played, followed by a guard of honour presented by contingents of Pakistan’s armed forces.

During the visit, the UAE president is scheduled to hold talks with the prime minister, focusing on bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.
