Over 38,000 Pakistanis Deported from Gulf Countries in 2025

Saudi Arabia tops the list with more than 27,000 deportations, official details presented in National Assembly

ISLAMABAD: More than 38,000 Pakistanis were deported from various Gulf countries during the year 2025, according to official details presented in the National Assembly.

The report revealed that deportation from Saudi Arabia the highest number of Pakistanis, with 27,692 individuals sent back during the year. The United Arab Emirates deported 6,794 Pakistanis, while Oman expelled 2,537.

Other Gulf countries also carried out deportations, including Bahrain with 786, Qatar with 644, Kuwait with 163, and additional cases from across the region.

The report further stated that 6,939 were deported for being fugitives in different criminal cases. Meanwhile, deportation of 4,872 individuals were due to illegal entry and overstaying their visas.

Among those, around 2,500 Pakistanis who had been imprisoned in Gulf jails. The data also showed that 1,639 were blacklisted, while 1,125 were deported on drug-related charges.

Deportations were also carried out for visa violations involving 936 individuals, theft cases involving 190, and begging-related offences leading to the deportation of 780 Pakistanis.

Additionally, deportation of 332 were for immigration law violations, 15 through Interpol, and more than 14,000 were deported for other unspecified reasons.
