FIA honours women officers on International Women’s Day
ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) headquarters hosted a ceremony to mark International Women’s Day, recognising the dedication and contributions of women officers serving in the agency.
The event was attended by Director General FIA Usman Anwar along with other senior officials.
Speaking at the closing session, the FIA chief praised the role of female officers in the organisation, saying they are not only leading key investigations but are also serving in important leadership positions.
Addressing the women officers, he said their vigilance in protecting borders, investigating financial crimes, countering human trafficking and upholding justice strengthens both the FIA and society.
“Your contributions are not only integral to this organisation but also serve as a beacon of inspiration for future generations of women who aspire to serve their country with honour, integrity and dedication,” he added.
The FIA director general reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to providing greater opportunities for female officers and supporting their professional development.

The Women’s Day ceremony concluded with the distribution of shields to outstanding women officers in recognition of their exceptional performance and service.
