The State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) has issued a warning for heavy rains in Azad Kashmir from April 18 to 22, urging tourists to exercise caution during this period.

Predictions include possible rains and snowfall in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir, and nearby regions over the next five days.

SDMA has highlighted the likelihood of increased rainfall intensity and wind speeds, advising citizens and tourists alike to take necessary precautions while traveling.

Additionally, the district administration has urged people to avoid traveling in areas susceptible to rain, landslides, and snowfall.

In concurrence, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a cautionary statement, advising the public to refrain from traveling as the country anticipates another bout of rainfall.

NDMA emphasized the potential for flash floods and landslides in low-lying and mountainous regions due to the expected rain this week.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has underscored that several parts of the country may encounter rainfall from April 16 to 22, heightening the importance of preparedness and vigilance among citizens and travelers alike.
