Ali Pervaiz Takes Oath as Minister of State for Finance
Member of National Assembly (MNA) Ali Pervaiz was sworn in as Minister of State for Finance & Revenue and Power Division in a ceremony held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Friday.
President Asif Ali Zardari administered the oath to Ali Pervaiz, who was elected as MNA from the NA-119 constituency of Lahore on the ticket of the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) in the recently held by-election.

According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division, the Prime Minister has allocated the portfolios of Finance & Revenue and Power Division to Ali Pervaiz with immediate effect, in terms of rule 3(4) of the Rules of Business 1973.
As Minister of State for Finance & Revenue, Ali Pervaiz will be responsible for overseeing the country’s financial and economic policies, while his additional portfolio of Power Division will see him working to address the country’s energy challenges.
This development is seen as a significant move by the government to strengthen its economic and energy management teams, and Ali Pervaiz’s appointment is expected to bring a fresh perspective and expertise to these critical areas.
