During the operation, authorities intercepted a large consignment of illegal drugs being transported by sea.

The seized cache included approximately 1,100 kilograms of hashish, 100 kilograms of heroin, and 50 kilograms of methamphetamine (Ice).

The contraband was later handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force for further investigation and legal proceedings.

The Pakistan Navy emphasized its continued commitment to maritime security and counter-narcotics efforts.

“This operation is a testament to the Pakistan Navy’s resolve to curb maritime crimes and uphold lawful order in the region,” the press release stated.

Officials involved in the operation confirmed that the seizure is one of the largest maritime interceptions in recent times.

The combined efforts of multiple agencies ensured precise coordination and swift action.

A Navy spokesperson said, “We are determined to prevent the use of Pakistan’s waters for any unlawful activities, especially drug trafficking.”

The Pakistan Navy has stepped up its patrols and surveillance operations in recent months, particularly in high-risk areas along the country’s coastline.

This latest success reflects growing inter-agency cooperation and technological capability in monitoring suspicious activity at sea.

Authorities have reiterated their resolve to intensify operations against maritime crime and protect Pakistan’s maritime borders.

The Pakistan Navy stated it will continue working with national and international partners to counter narcotics trafficking and safeguard regional stability.
