According to official documents, the project’s progress has been moderately satisfactory, with all major procurement completed.
However, the civil works contractor is behind schedule, which may impact the commissioning dates of the generation units.
Despite this, the project is expected to be completed by the extended loan closing date.
The World Bank has revised the results framework to incorporate indicators from its Corporate Scorecard approach and framework.
The project includes the expansion of the Tarbela hydropower facility, a 500 kV switchyard, a transmission line, and social and environmental management plans.
