President Zardari Meets Al Jazeera Director General in Doha
Doha: President Asif Ali Zardari met with Nasir bin Faisal bin Khalifa Al Thani, Director General of Al Jazeera Media Network, in Doha.
The President expressed satisfaction over Qatar’s warm hospitality and his productive meetings with the Qatari leadership during his visit.
President Zardari commended Al Jazeera’s significant contribution to objective journalism and its efforts in promoting harmony and understanding among nations.

He also praised Qatar’s principled stance in support of the Palestinian people and acknowledged the country’s leadership for its constructive efforts towards peace in Gaza.
Nasir bin Faisal Al Thani conveyed appreciation for Pakistan’s solidarity with Qatar, particularly on regional and humanitarian issues. He informed the President that a high-level delegation from Al Jazeera would soon visit Pakistan to explore avenues for media cooperation.
The meeting was also attended by First Lady Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Qatar.
