UAE Introduces New Conditions for Family Iqama
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has introduced new regulations for family residence visas (Iqama), effective immediately.

- Minimum monthly income of AED 3,000 (approximately USD 817)
- Proof of residence in the UAE
- Medical examination for family members aged 18 and above at approved medical facilities
- Conversion of temporary entry visa to Iqama within 60 days of arrival in the UAE (if applicable)
Application Process:
Applicants can apply for an Iqama through the “e-channels” system or the official authority website.
