Pakistan Commemorates World Immunization Week 2024
The Federal Directorate of Immunization, Expanded Programme on Immunization – Pakistan, has launched a nationwide awareness campaign to commemorate World Immunization Week 2024.
The campaign, which runs from April 24-30, aims to promote the importance of immunization and vaccination efforts across the country.
Electronic Media Campaign
In collaboration with UNICEF Pakistan, World Health Organization – Pakistan, Gates Foundation, and Pakistan Polio Eradication Initiative, the campaign will utilize electronic media platforms, including mainstream media channels, to broadcast awareness content and promote the EPIAT50 journey.
Dr. Muhammad Ahmad Kazi, DG Health/FDI Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination Islamabad, emphasized the importance of immunization in protecting public health.
