As the last 10 days of Ramadan approach, people are anticipating the duration of Eidul Fitr holidays in the country.

There are expectations that Pakistanis might enjoy a six-day break to celebrate Eid festivities.

The Meteorological Department forecasts that Ramadan will likely span 29 days, indicating that Eid is expected to be observed on April 10, Wednesday.

However, the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will officially announce the confirmation of the moon sighting.

Traditionally, Eidul Fitr holidays start a day before Eid itself. Hence, April 9, Tuesday, is anticipated to mark the beginning of Eid holidays.

The holidays are projected to extend for four days from April 9 to April 12, followed by the usual weekend break on Saturday and Sunday.

The government is slated to make a final decision regarding the duration of Eid holidays in the upcoming week.
