Iqra Aziz, Yasir Hussain name newborn daughter Sophia

KARACHI: Pakistan’s entertainment industry’s renowned couple Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain on Tuesday revealed the name of their newborn daughter.

Sharing an animated card on Instagram with the caption “Alhamdulillah”, Aziz announced that the couple has named their baby girl Sophia Hussain.

“Born January 24, 2026. Our hearts are full as we welcome our baby girl — Sophia Hussain,” read the card, adding: “Allah has blessed us with the most beautiful gift.”

The couple was blessed with a baby girl on January 24. The news of the birth was earlier shared by Yasir Hussain on Instagram, where he posted a photo of the hospital identification band and expressed gratitude to his wife, calling the moment a blessing.

The couple has not shared any photos of the newborn so far.

Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain, who tied the knot in 2019, already have a son. They announced their second pregnancy in November 2025 through social media, sharing pictures with a baby bump.

“Happily and chaotically we’re growing to four,” Aziz had captioned the post, sharing the news with her followers.
