Islamabad Police to Issue Driving Licenses Nationwide; Minister
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced that the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) will now issue driving licenses to residents from all over Pakistan.
This decision aims to streamline the process and make it more convenient for citizens to obtain licenses.
To further facilitate the process, the minister announced special programs for students and senior citizens in Islamabad.
Under these initiatives, driving licenses for students will be processed and delivered directly to their institutions, while residents over the age of 70 will have their licenses issued at their homes.

The interior minister also launched the Islamabad Traffic Police Facilitation on Wheels and Islamabad Traffic Police Education on Wheels programs at the ITP Headquarters.
Additionally, he unveiled mobile licenses and learning vans operated by the Islamabad Traffic Police at F-9 Park.
Naqvi pledged to ensure parking availability in all commercial areas of Islamabad and announced strict action against commercial centers lacking adequate parking facilities.

He also directed the Islamabad Traffic Police to revoke all previously issued permits for tinted car windows and commence issuing licenses to residents from any part of the country.
This move is expected to bring convenience and ease to citizens across Pakistan, and the facilitation programs will especially benefit students and senior citizens in Islamabad.
