New Spell of Rainfall in Punjab Expected from April 23
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued a rain alert for Punjab, with a new spell of rainfall expected to enter the province by April 23.
According to the PDMA spokesperson, Upper Punjab will receive a new spell of light rainfall on April 23, followed by thundershowers and hail from April 26 to 29.
Farmers have been advised to harvest their wheat crop accordingly, considering the prevailing weather conditions.

DG PDMA Irfan Ali Kathia has directed district administrations across the province to remain on high alert, with the next ten days being critical for rescue agencies and district administrations.
Efforts are being made to minimize damage caused by natural storms and rains, including improving drainage systems in low-lying areas to mitigate potential flooding.
