Pakistan first-ever lunar mission, ICUBE-Q, is set to launch on May 3 (Friday) on board China’s robotic exploration mission ‘Chang’e 6’ from Hainan, China.

This historic milestone marks Pakistan’s entry into lunar exploration and reinforces its commitment to advancing space research and technology.

The ICUBE-Q satellite, designed and developed by the Institute of Space Technology (IST) in collaboration with China’s Shanghai University SJTU and Pakistan’s national space agency SUPARCO, will collect lunar surface samples from the Moon’s far side upon its return to Earth.
