A shocking incident has come to light in Johar Town, Lahore, where the owners and staff of a private girls’ hostel have been accused of secretly recording videos of residents using hidden cameras installed in the washrooms.

The police have filed charges against the suspects, and an investigation is underway.

The issue was discovered when a 17-year-old girl found a camera in a washroom and informed her uncle, Nasir Mahmood, who reported the crime to the police.

The case names the hostel owner, Mian Saleem, his wife, Fouzia Saleem, and several employees.

According to Nasir, around 40 young girls from various districts of Punjab reside at the hostel, and the discovery of the hidden cameras has raised serious concerns about the potential misuse of the recorded videos.

Some suspects have gone into hiding, while others have obtained pre-arrest bail.

The hostel has been vacated, and a special police investigation team is working on the case.

The authorities are taking the incident seriously, and efforts are being made to ensure the safety and privacy of the residents.
