With the Hajj season approaching, Saudi Arabia has stepped up its efforts to prevent unlawful pilgrims from entering the country.

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj has introduced the Nusuk Card, an official tag for legal pilgrims to access holy sites during the upcoming Hajj season.

The Nusuk Card, available in physical and digital formats, contains detailed information about each pilgrim and is required for access to holy sites and navigation within Mecca.

Overseas pilgrims will receive the card from their respective Hajj offices after obtaining pilgrimage visas, while domestic pilgrims will obtain it from service providers after receiving their Hajj permits.

The introduction of the Nusuk Card is part of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to crack down on fraudulent campaigns and websites targeting Muslims intending to perform the Hajj pilgrimage.

The kingdom has emphasized the importance of using official and legitimate channels for all Hajj-related matters, and the Council of Senior Scholars has stated that performing Hajj without an official permit is considered a sin.

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj has warned pilgrims to obtain a Hajj permit through the Nusuk platform to ensure a legitimate and safe pilgrimage experience.

With less than two weeks remaining before the arrival of the first groups of overseas Muslims, Saudi Arabia is committed to ensuring a smooth and spiritual experience for all pilgrims.
