Ali Randhawa New Commissioner of Islamabad, Chairman CDA
In a recent development, the federal government has announced the appointment of Muhammad Ali Randhawa as the new Commissioner of Islamabad and Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
According to a letter issued by the Ministry of Interior on Wednesday, Randhawa, who is currently serving as the Commissioner of Lahore, will be transferred to the Ministry of Interior and subsequently posted as the Chairman of CDA or Chief Commissioner Office Islamabad ICT.
The appointment is aimed at ensuring smooth operations in the capital city, and Randhawa will replace Captain (retd) Anwarul Haq in both roles.
