Field Marshal Asim Munir Meets Pakistan U-19 Team After Asia Cup Triumph
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, met the Pakistan Under-19 cricket team on Monday at General Headquarters and congratulated the players, team management and officials on their historic victory in the Asia Cup Men’s Under-19 tournament.
According to a statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations, the field marshal praised the team’s outstanding performance, discipline, teamwork and fighting spirit, terming their success a moment of great pride for the entire nation. He said the achievement reflected the immense talent and potential of Pakistan’s youth.
During the interaction, Field Marshal Asim Munir appreciated the dedication and hard work of the young cricketers and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. He urged the players to serve as positive ambassadors of Pakistan both on and off the field.
