Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir meets Saudi Armed Forces CGS
ISLAMABAD: General Fayyadh Bin Hameed Al Rowaili, Chief of General Staff (CGS) of the Saudi Armed Forces, called on General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), at General Headquarters (GHQ).
During the meeting, both leaders discussed matters of mutual interest, with a focus on strengthening the longstanding and strategic military cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. They emphasized further enhancing defence collaboration, security cooperation, and counter-terrorism efforts, which continue to be pillars of the bilateral relationship.

The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s cooperation with the Saudi Armed Forces in multiple fields and reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the strong bonds of cooperation.
Upon arrival at GHQ, CGS General Fayyadh Bin Hameed Al Rowaili laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada and was presented a Guard of Honour by a smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army.
