Imran Khan examined by new medical board at Adiala jail on IHC orders

Detailed health assessment conducted; report to be submitted to chief commissioner

ISLAMABAD: A newly constituted medical board conducted a detailed health examination of jailed former prime minister Imran Khan at Adiala jail following directives of the Islamabad High Court (IHC), according to jail authorities.

The administration said that the Islamabad chief commissioner formed the new medical board in compliance with the court’s instructions. The board, comprising specialist doctors, carried out a comprehensive medical assessment of the PTI founder.

Officials stated that all necessary medical equipment and facilities were made available to the board during the examination to ensure a thorough check-up.

The medical board will submit its complete report to the chief commissioner, based on which further decisions regarding the former premier’s treatment will be taken in accordance with the law.
