New Office Timing Unveiled for Federal Government Employees
The Establishment Division has introduced revised office timing for federal government employees, marking a pivotal shift in the operational framework.
The announcement, made on Tuesday, outlines meticulous adjustments aimed at optimizing productivity and accommodating the diverse needs of the workforce.
Under the newly implemented schedule, federal government offices operating five days a week will extend their working hours from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Meanwhile, offices operating six days a week will commence operations from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
To ensure a seamless balance between professional commitments and personal obligations, a 30-minute break has been allocated for prayers and lunch, scheduled from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
It is imperative to recall that these revised timings supersede the temporary adjustments made during the observance of Ramadan.
Previously, federal government office timing from 9 am to 3 pm for five days a week and from 9 am to 2 pm for six days a week during the holy month.
Furthermore, Fridays witnessed a shorter workday, with office hours set from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
