Pakistan, Indonesia Conclude Joint Military Exercise ‘Shaheen Strike-II’

Counter Terrorism–focused drills strengthen operational cooperation and enhance interoperability between the two armies.

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan–Indonesia Joint Military Exercise Shaheen Strike-II was held from 8 to 19 November 2025, with combat teams from both countries’ armies participating in intensive Counter Terrorism (CT) training.

The exercise formally concluded on 18 November, with a General Officer from Pakistan attending the closing ceremony as Chief Guest. Senior military officials represented the Indonesian side.

All training objectives were successfully met as troops from both nations showcased exemplary professionalism and operational skill. The exercise focused on improving CT tactics, including operations in built-up areas and counter–improvised explosive device (C-IED) measures.

Shaheen Strike-II further reinforced the longstanding defence collaboration between Pakistan and Indonesia, enhancing interoperability and strengthening military-to-military ties.
