Pakistan Navy conducts successful test of ship-launched ballistic missile

Indigenously developed weapon system can strike sea and land targets with high precision

Islamabad: Pakistan Navy on Tuesday successfully conducted a test flight of an indigenously developed ship-launched anti-ship ballistic missile.

According to a statement issued by the Director General Public Relations (Navy), the ballistic missile is capable of engaging both sea and ground targets with high accuracy. The weapon system is equipped with state-of-the-art guidance technology and advanced maneuverability features.

The flight test was witnessed by the Chief of the Naval Staff along with senior scientists and engineers involved in the project.

The navy said the successful test demonstrated Pakistan’s growing technological capability and its commitment to protecting national maritime interests.

President, prime minister, chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and the services chiefs congratulated the participating units and scientists on achieving this major milestone.
