Pakistan Successfully Tests Fatah-IV Missile
RAWALPINDI: Pakistan on Tuesday successfully test-fired the Fatah-IV cruise missile, marking a significant addition to the arsenal of the recently established Army Rocket Force Command (ARFC).
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the indigenously developed missile has a range of 750 kilometres and is equipped with state-of-the-art avionics and a modern navigational system.
The Fatah-IV is capable of penetrating enemy defence systems and striking targets with pinpoint accuracy, the ISPR said. Senior military officials, including the chief of general staff, witnessed the test.

Experts say the new cruise missile will further enhance the reach, lethality and survivability of Pakistan Army’s conventional missile systems. With its advanced guidance and precision capabilities, the Fatah-IV is being termed a “game-changer” in national defence.
President Asif Ali Zardari congratulated the nation on the achievement, calling it another testament to Pakistan’s self-reliance. “The nation is proud of the determination and courage of its scientists and engineers,” he said, reaffirming that the country’s defence would remain invincible.
