Passenger Offloaded at Airport for Attempting Illegal Travel to Europe
FIA Immigration officials at Islamabad International Airport offloaded a passenger attempting to travel to Europe illegally under the cover of an Umrah visa.
According to a spokesperson of the Federal Investigation Agency, the passenger, identified as Muhammad Usman, was traveling to Saudi Arabia on Umrah visa via flight PK-713 when he was flagged as suspicious during the immigration clearance process.
Initial investigation revealed that the passenger was in contact with multiple agents to facilitate his illegal travel to Europe. FIA further disclosed that Muhammad Usman had earlier been deported from Italy this year for illegal immigration.
