PM directs Daanish University to focus on technology, modern sciences

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday emphasised that Daanish University would focus on promoting technology and modern scientific disciplines, as he chaired a meeting of the university’s Board of Trustees.

According to a Prime Minister’s Office news release, the meeting discussed the university’s development, future plans and the establishment of an inclusive, world-class institution aimed at advancing modern education and technological innovation.

The prime minister directed that the university’s architecture should be simple yet dignified, reflecting its commitment to excellence. He also underscored the importance of appointing high-quality research faculty and staff, stressing that a comprehensive strategy should be devised to attract the best talent in research and teaching.

Welcoming the chairman and members of the Board of Trustees, the prime minister extended his best wishes and said their efforts would play a vital role in spreading knowledge. He highlighted education as a key driver in transforming the country’s future and reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring academic excellence at Daanish University.
