PM Shehbaz Boosts Frontline Troops’ Morale in Sialkot Visit
SIALKOT – Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif visited frontline troops at Pasrur Garrison near Sialkot on Wednesday, expressing the nation’s solidarity with armed forces engaged in Operation Bunyanum Marsoos (Maarka-e-Haq).

Accompanied by senior civilian and military leadership including Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, the PM met with officers and soldiers participating in the ongoing operation.
“The nation stands united behind our brave soldiers defending Pakistan’s sovereignty,” PM Shehbaz stated during the visit. He praised troops for their “unwavering dedication and valor” in what the PMO described as a morale-boosting interaction.
The high-level delegation included Deputy PM Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, and federal ministers Ahsan Iqbal and Attaullah Tarar.
The prime minister’s office announced follow-up visits to air and naval bases in coming days, signaling government-wide support across all military branches.
State broadcaster PTV will air the PM’s garrison address Wednesday evening, billed as a “historic interaction” with frontline defenders.
