PM Unveils Roadmap for Chinese Industries’ Transfer to Pakistan
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has received a comprehensive roadmap for the transfer of Chinese industries to Pakistan, aiming to boost the country’s economy, create jobs, and enhance exports.
During a review meeting, the premier was briefed on collaborative plans with Chinese companies to bring textile, medical, plastic, and leather industries to Pakistan.

He instructed officials to provide necessary support to facilitate the transfer, warning against any delays in implementing MoUs with China.
The PM acknowledged China’s long-standing support for Pakistan and the Chinese leadership’s commitment to increasing investment. The transfer of industries is expected to have a positive impact on Pakistan’s economy.
The meeting discussed various projects, including the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway, which will be completed through a Public-Private Partnership.
Plans to transition power plants from imported coal to local coal were also announced, along with an upcoming roadshow in Beijing to attract investors to Pakistan.
This development is expected to strengthen Pakistan-China economic ties and bring significant investment to the country.
