Private Schools, Colleges Unveils Eid Holidays
The All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association, led by Dr. Malik Abrar Hussain, has unveiled the holiday schedule for Eid-al-Fitr across Pakistan.
Private educational institutes under the association’s purview will observe Eid-al-Fitr holidays from April 10th to April 14th.
Dr. Malik Abrar Hussain emphasized that regular academic activities will resume on Monday, April 15, 2024, post the Eid-al-Fitr break.
In alignment with this, the federal government previously announced Eid-al-Fitr holidays, setting a precedent for both public and private sectors.
According to the Cabinet Division’s notification, offices adhering to a five-day work week will remain closed from Wednesday, April 10th, to Friday, April 12th.
Similarly, offices with a six-day work week will observe holidays from Wednesday, April 10th, to Saturday, April 13th.
The date of Eid-al-Fitr celebration is contingent upon the sighting of the moon, likely falling on April 10 or 11.
This schedule ensures a unified approach to the holiday period across Pakistan, facilitating both public and private sectors in their operational planning.
