Punjab Launches Model Bazaar Free Home Delivery Project
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the Model Bazaar Free Home Delivery Project, revolutionizing the way citizens access essential goods.
The project, which begins in 36 model markets across Punjab, aims to enhance service accessibility and convenience by delivering goods directly to citizens’ homes.
Speaking at the launch, CM Punjab announced plans to establish new model markets in areas without them, upgrading existing ones to feature amenities like seating, wheelchairs, and special public toilets for the disabled.

Food prices at these bazaars will be lower than those set by the Deputy Commissioner, making essential items more affordable for citizens.
The project’s convenience is further enhanced by the option to order via phone call or app, making it easier for women to access essential items from the comfort of their own homes.
To address the energy crisis, the Punjab government will distribute free solar plates to consumers using up to 200 units per month and offer solar systems in easy installments for households consuming between 200 and 500 units.
CM Punjab also acknowledged the efforts of ministers, administration, and police in maintaining law and order during Ashura, utilizing drone cameras to oversee processions and rallies.
This innovative project is a significant step towards improving the lives of citizens in Punjab, and its success is eagerly anticipated.
