Security Forces eliminate 34 Indian-proxy terrorists in KP and Balochistan IBOs

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s Security Forces conducted a series of high-tempo intelligence-driven operations over the past few days, targeting Indian proxy groups and militants linked to Fitna Al Khwarij and Fitna Al Hindustan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

On February 24, 2026, twenty-six militants belonging to Indian proxy Fitna Al Khwarij were killed across four separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while eight militants linked to Indian proxy Fitna Al Hindustan were neutralized in Sambaza, Balochistan.

In North Waziristan’s Hassan Khel area, a group of Fitna Al Khwarij militants attempting to infiltrate from the Pakistan-Afghanistan border was engaged by security forces. One militant, identified as an Afghan national, was killed.

An intelligence-based operation in Lakki Marwat District resulted in the elimination of three khwarij after an intense exchange of fire.

In two simultaneous operations in Narmi Khel, Bannu District, ten militants were neutralized, while twelve others were killed in Mir Ali, North Waziristan, based on precise intelligence.

In Sambaza, Zhob District, security forces successfully eliminated eight Fitna Al Hindustan militants, recovering weapons and ammunition from all operations.

The ISPR reaffirmed that Pakistan’s Security Forces remain committed to defending the nation’s frontiers and will continue sanitization operations to eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism under the federal government’s approved National Action Plan.

The operations form part of the ongoing counterterrorism initiative “Azm-e-Istehkam,” aimed at neutralizing all threats posed by Indian-backed militant networks in the country.
