Tandoor Owners Continue to Sell Naan at Higher Prices
In a blatant disregard for government directives, tandoor owners in Taxila and Wah continue to sell naan at higher prices at Rs. 25, despite the official price fixation at Rs. 20.
The provincial government had issued a notification enforcing the price reduction, but the Naanbai Association remains defiant.
Residents Express Disappointment
Residents of the areas, including Zohaib Salman and Mushtaq Turk, have expressed frustration over the lack of price reduction, noting that roti is still being sold at Rs. 20 despite the government’s directive to sell it at Rs. 16.
