Uzbek President Mirziyoyev Visits GIDS

RAWALPINDI: Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan, along with senior ministers, visited Global Industrial & Defence Solutions (GIDS) as part of his official trip to Pakistan. Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, warmly received the President and his delegation and accompanied them during the facility tour.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), President Mirziyoyev was briefed on GIDS’s diverse portfolio, which includes advanced defence solutions, industrial capabilities, and technological innovations. The delegation toured key facilities and observed a range of defence products, highlighting Pakistan’s growing expertise in indigenous defence production and industrial development.
