Zardari Praises Pak Army Professionalism at Gujranwala
President Asif Ali Zardari visited Gujranwala Cantonment on Saturday, where he was received by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir.
During his visit, the president commended the Pakistan Army’s operational success in Marka e Haq lauding its professionalism and bravery.

According to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), President Zardari paid homage to the sacrifices of military and civilian martyrs, calling them “a sacred trust and a source of enduring national pride.”

He emphasized that the nation holds its soldiers in high esteem as “symbols of honor and dignity.”
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and commanders of the Mangla and Gujranwala Corps were also present during the visit.
The president praised the high morale and readiness of officers and troops, congratulating them on the success of “Operation Bunyan al-Marsoos” (Impenetrable Wall).

“The enemy’s malicious designs were thwarted within hours,” he stated, highlighting the armed forces’ role in strengthening national unity.
The ISPR noted that President Zardari acknowledged the Pakistan Army’s professionalism and valor in defending the country’s sovereignty.
