PIA Resumes Flights From Skardu to UAE

The flights, which were suspended during the winter season due to adverse weather conditions, will operate twice a week.

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the resumption of its flights from Skardu Airport to Dubai, UAE, starting from April 29.

The flights, which were suspended during the winter season due to adverse weather conditions, will operate twice a week.

This development is expected to promote international tourism, trekking, and expeditions in the Baltistan Region, as well as enhance cultural exchange, trade, and diplomatic relations between Pakistan and other countries.

The flights were initially launched in August last year, but were suspended due to heavy rainfall in Dubai.

PIA has ensured that passengers affected by the canceled flights are being given priority for re-accommodation on the next flights.
