ICC Champions Trophy 2025; Three Venues Shortlisted
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken a significant step towards hosting the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy by submitting three venues – Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi – to the ICC committee.
This development comes after an ICC team conducted inspections in the country.
The tournament, expected to take place over two weeks in 2025, will feature 8 teams, including arch-rivals India.
While the exact dates are yet to be confirmed, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has assured that the schedule has been sent to the ICC.

Naqvi also confirmed that the renovation of the stadiums will be expedited, with international companies set to visit Pakistan on May 7 to finalize designs.
The PCB aims to complete the renovations within 5 months.
This will be the first Champions Trophy in 8 years where Pakistan will defend their title, won in 2017 under Sarfraz Ahmed’s leadership.
The hosting of the tournament is a significant milestone for Pakistan cricket, marking the return of international cricket to the country.
