Pakistani Mountaineer Achieves Historic Feat, Dedicates Success to Nation and Support Team

Pakistani woman mountaineer Naila Kiani has successfully summited Makalu, the 5th highest peak in the world at 8,485 meters.

This remarkable achievement makes her the first Pakistani woman to have conquered 11 of the world’s highest peaks above 8,000 meters.

Naila reached the summit at approximately 8:50 am Pakistan time, marking another historic milestone in her illustrious mountaineering career.

She expressed gratitude to the nation for their prayers and good wishes, as well as to her support team, including Sherpa Gelgen Dai from Imagine Nepal.
