Pakistan to tour West Indies for two-Test series in July–August 2026
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan men’s cricket team will tour the West Indies for a two-match Test series in July and August next year, Cricket West Indies Vice President Azim Bassarath has confirmed.
Speaking at an executive luncheon of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board at the National Cricket Centre in Balmain on Wednesday, Bassarath said the tour will take place from July 15 to August 7, 2026.
According to him, the series will comprise two ICC World Test Championship matches. The first Test will be played at Queen’s Park Oval, while the second Test will be hosted by the Brian Lara Cricket Academy. A four-day warm-up match will also be staged at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy ahead of the series.
“We will host the Pakistan tour of the Caribbean from July 15 to August 7, 2026, comprising the four-day warm-up match at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, the first Test at Queen’s Park Oval and the second Test at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy,” Bassarath said.

He added that the Brian Lara Cricket Academy will now be a fully accredited international venue capable of hosting matches in all formats.
The red-ball tour is part of Pakistan’s Future Tour Programme, while the detailed match schedule is yet to be finalised.
Earlier this year, Pakistan toured the West Indies for three-match ODI and T20I series. The most recent Test series between the two sides, played in January, ended in a 1-1 draw.
Pakistan last toured the West Indies for a Test series in 2021, which also concluded with a 1-1 result.
