PCB’s Maternity Policy Shift; Game-Changer for Bismah Maroof

Bismah Maroof, Former Pakistan women’s cricket captain, revealed Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) policy change during her pregnancy.

Former CEO Wasim Khan adjusted the policy to allow Maroof’s daughter and mother to join her during the 2022 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in New Zealand.

PCB now offers women cricketers a year’s paid leave and supports childcare for men’s team with a month’s paid leave.
